Housing

The Endorphin Power Company (EPC) has 19 dormitory style, single occupancy, transitional housing units available to help newly sober individuals stay sober and transition back into society. EPC is a therapeutic environment which stresses exercise, education, volunteerism and community as means of therapy. The Waterman Power House (WPH) is not a "shelter", "flop house" or "halfway house". It is a community of people interested in helping individuals who truly want to overcome their addictions. The residents themselves use the phrases "sober living", or "transitional living".

Community

Community is the cornerstone of the EPC philosophy, both for residents living in the Waterman Power House as well as members of the surrounding neighborhoods and greater Albuquerque area that attend meetings and participate in other EPC activities.

Community Council

All residents living in the Waterman Power House comprise the Community Council and attend one mandatory, meeting at 8:15pm every Wednesday. The meeting usually lasts about an hour.

Programs

Residents living at Waterman Power House are automatically enrolled in Endorphin Power University (EPU), a life-rebuilding program. Briefly, Endorphin Power University offers a four-pronged curriculum: Physical Fitness, Education, Fellowship and Community Service. All of which residents attend or perform daily.
